To all my local Dallas people I have reason to believe that Dallas’ hottest underground club of the moment, Cameo, will ONLY BE OPEN TO DFW residents Superbowl Weekend!!! Meaning, if you are from out of the city you may not be allowed in. I was told this was done because of all the negative happenings from the NBA All-Star game.
If this is true then Cameo will be BANKING. Every single place off Main St will be charging a MINIMUM of $150 to get in. There will to be a MASS of celebrities in downtown, and Dallas is banking. So what about the rest of us who aren’t interested in seeing a bunch of B+ C- celebrities… there is Cameo. Now Cameo doesn’t typically have a cover to get in… but that’s not to say they won’t on this weekend. You have to either be a super hot girl (two fingers at this girl), with a group of hot girls, guys who know the bouncer, or a Dallas Socialite. Good thing for me I’m either one of those types of people or I hang with those types of people. Shiet, I have gotten in places wearing raggity sneakers and a T-Shirt in some of the hottest clubs and lounges in Dallas!
Back to my point. If this rumor is true then I will be at Cameo on Saturday night... that’s if I can’t get into the Maxim party that is…
Anyways, Cameo is actually one of my favorite scenes in Dallas. It’s a great size, underground, and the DJs play the BEST music! If you are looking to see what the hottest fashions are in Dallas on the hottest girls and the most attractive men Cameo is the best place for one to be!
