Oklahoma Edition…
So my weekend in Oklahoma was great. My friend and I had a late start because I had to attend an orientation for my exchange student who will be here next week (August 17th). He REALLY wanted me to go with him, so he told me he would wait until my orientation was over and come and pick me up. We left sometime after 12 to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. It took about three hours (including the time we got lost). We got there sometime after 4PM and we were both exhausted. I slept well. There were a number of other people already at the cabin (over 10). Since my boy and I arrived late we missed the boat ride. He wanted to go to Oklahoma to write, and I thought this would be a real good opportunity to take some photos other than high street style with my baby, Nikon. He thought it would be a good idea to go together so we can both get our artistic on.
Oklahoma was just so beautiful at night (shhhhhhhhhh… don’t tell the hardcore UT Longhorn fanatics I admitted that).
Saturday night I went outside with nothing left but my thoughts and looked out into the night sky. It was so beautiful. No high rises, traffic, or fast food restaurants around. It was just God’s art splashed everywhere. I can’t tell you the last time I was just OUT at night… staring at the stars. I was just appreciating and thanking God for all his beauty.
I have been blessed with a beautiful family, friends, dog, and life.
I will never take this life for granted.
Check out my photos below… and the occasional caption for them.
I don’t wear any make-up… just nail polish… and I only limit that to my toes. Pictured above is how I did my cute toes! China Glaze for the base. Then I used two coats Wet and Wild for the base coat. Next I used silver glitter over the nude Wet and Wild. Last I used the Pro top coat.

This weekend I was originally supposed to go to Speedzone with the homies, but I backed out due to the OK trip. My friend knew this and we stopped a go kart place we saw on the way to the cabin.
The same bathroom. Ew.
Just a rotary girl in a touch screen world.
I’m sorry, but Casper gives me the creeps. Sorry Devon Swana.
Bugs mating. Cuz I’m so mature.
My friend beat me. That’s only cuz I didn’t want to run the old man and his granddaughter off the road.
I love the natural design of the rock. I took it home with me.
I thought it was funny this woman was sitting in the woods and just texting. I can’t even believe she got service!
Our cabin.
This was the inside of my pocketbook. Serious. Who needs four (the 4th bottle was a SECOND full sized Breathless) perfume bottles?! I also need a wallet. I hate cash and I just seem to stuff my change in my bag.
I’m already ready for this next weekend coming up!
