I typically don’t do too many worst dress list, but the 2012 Met Gala had wayyyyyyyyyyy too much material for me to pass. Here we go!!!!
01: Bianca Brandolini
Yeah, I don’t know who she is either. I honestly believe she wore this atrocity of an outfit to the Met Gala only to be placed on the worst dress list. If she’s placed on that list people will start wondering who she is and then she can start getting jobs in Hollywood. Yeah, game recognizes game. Nicely played. Dolce and Gabbana is responsible for this mess.
02: Lana de Rey
Again, another would be celeb competing against the sun to be the brightest star in our universe. Actually, Lana looks like she’s about to play Dungeons and Dragons in her cape and Joseph Altuzarra dress. Honestly, it’s not really the dress, but her make-up looks HORRIBLE.
03: Rihanna
Do crocodiles shed? I hope they do so Rihanna can take a hint with this Tom Ford dress.
04: Coco Rocha
Just because Elizabeth Taylor wore this exact same Givenchy suit doesn’t mean I have to like it.
05: Florence Welch
I love Alexander McQueen and everything, but I’m going to assume she lost a bet.
06: Kirsten Dunst
When doing hipster goes too far. I understand that Kirsten is all about the vintage look, which can be seen in this Rodarte ensemble, but girl needs to take a couple of notes from Midnight in Paris, and get with the times.
07: Mary Kate-Olsen
Seriously? The Row custom dress.
08: Kristen Stewart
I am so baffled. Why is she wearing this? Balenciaga just punk’d her.
09: Leighton Meester
This dress is just like Gossip Girl this season, going in the wrong direction. Who told you this would look good on you?! She looks like she found this dress at the bottom of the Tinkerbell bargain bin at Party City and then caught the subway to the gala. I’m not mad at you Marchesa, we are all allowed to have a bad day.

I’m pretty undecided as to who I would choose as “worst dressed”, but I’m wondering…don’t most of these celebrities have stylists…people that they PAY to help them look good in front of cameras? At least some of these looks took me back to some very happy 1980s childhood memories!
