TGIF!
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.
As you all know, I hate getting too personal on this blog. S and I like to keep our personal life… well personal. Of course we will call each other and talk about current events in our life, but we aren’t going to place them on the blog. I want this to be a drama free zone that you guys can come here after a long day read, relax, and have fun with our personalities.
I do want you guys to know that in this life, especially if you are in a first world country, you do have the ability to change the direction on how you are leading your existence. If you want more, do more. Don’t take your eyes off the goal. Don’t become distract with naysayers and haters. I have learned that the only people who don’t want you to do well are people who are jealous of your ambition and ability.
If you’re not happy with something in your life change it. Like Steve Jobs said, ‘When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.’ It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”
I want everyone who comes across this post to really read, analyze, and understand that quote. If you’re not happy, change your position. There is no reason not to be happy in ALL aspects of your life. Some people may say to themselves… I have been doing this for so long… I don’t know anything else. No people… that’s called complacency and you have just convinced yourself that you have no ambition to strive for anything better. If you have a goal you CAN achieve it. The only person placing obstacles in front of you is yourself.
Remember, the mind and the soul of the body is a flowing river… even if there is a rock in the way water always finds a way around.
If you REALLY want to achieve something, you will find away to get what you need.
I’m looking for happiness is EVERY aspect of my life.
Happy Friday
Love,
K
PS: Isn’t that picture so cute?! I personal don’t have any haters in my life (if I do I can’t see them since I’m so high up). However, if you do then you guys need to never mind them and strut like that kitten, because trust… HATERS ARE ALWAYS JUST GON’ TO HATE!
PSS: I’m missing working today to see if I have CTS (Carpel Tunnel Syndrome)… Lets pray that I don’t.

I love this post, K!! Thank you for sharing Steve Jobs’s quote…I had not read it before today, and I feel it’s so necessary in this day and age, when people are even more hesitant to strive towards their dreams for fear of financial instability. I think I’ll post his quote on my bathroom mirror!
