A new year means many new things.  First of all I want to let you guys know that this year I will be conducting a weekly poll.  You guys will pick who rocked your favorite look of the week.  Then once a month I will run a monthly overall winner.  At the end of the year I will take a tally of who one best dressed of the year.

01: Brooklyn Blonde

I’m already over this cold weather… and yes, we that live in Texas may get it MUCH easier than the rest of the country, but I still dislike it.  There is nothing fun about layering up so much.  *ugh* I prefer light colors and thin shirts.  However,  I have to say this pull is fun, comfy, and casual.  The hot pink anchor ads a pop of flair to this tan sweater.  I really love the button detailing on the lowest part of the sleeve.   The dark indigo skinny jeans are both sexy and casual.  The shoes are just PERFECT!  For every 1 inch of heel you appear about 2 pounds thinner…  another trick is wearing nude heels.  Nude heels will make you appear even thinner!

Oh, let’s not forget that bag!

02: Bei Love Bei

There were so many great and outrages outfits to choose from in her post, but I must say this one was a favorite for me.  I am not a trendy person in the least, but I have to give props where they are due.  She is able to pair the on trend peplum skirt with a leopard print top.  She does a fantastic job with rocking this look with that silver metal belt.   The cropped blazer is an AMAZING touch to this outfit.  And the kicker?  Those Ray Bans.  You guys know I love some Ray Bans.

03: Could I Have That?

No seriously… could I have this whole outfit?  White is my FAVORITE color to wear… and once I drop about 10 pounds I’m going to start rocking it like no one’s business again.  Even though I’m not a full fledge fan of winter I can appreciate a knit sweater.  I’m actually jealous that she can rock some white skinny jeans.

Did I tell you… I tried on a pair of white skinny jeans?  I looked a HOT mess.  You CANNOT hide ANYTHING in white skinny jeans.  They also made me pair to be 5′ tall.  If you’re wondering, I’m 5’7.

04: Neon Blush

And for the opposite end of the spectrum, black.  There is something to say about girls who aren’t blessed with as many curves as some of us other girls are.  Geez, if I wore that skirt then I would be hanging out ALL. OVER. THE. PLACE!  Is it just me, or is the back designed longer than the front?

Either way I’m just FEELING this look.  Mainly because the jacket is fabulous.  It looks both fashionable and functional.  Gotta love with Zara can exercise both elements in one piece.

Can someone please tell me why this girl is FOREVER in bathing suits, no sleeves, and short skirts?! Yes, I am JEALOUS.  My dream when I was younger was to be a jetsetter and to spend at least one year where I never had to endure the winter.  LOL.  So that means six months in the states and six months in Australia.

06: Peace Love Shea

Speaking of another jet setting blogger, she is always all over the place… as in travelling.  As of this post she was in the Italian Alps.  Okay, first of all… who even knew that Italy had alps?!  Maybe I need to read more books, but I certainly did not know that. Could you imagine being in Italy sitting on a white sheepskin rug, drinking fine pinto grigo, while sitting by the fire?

*sigh*

Okay, so back to her look I love this very feminine skiing outfit.  You hardly see woman rocking anything this girly on the slopes… well, not in any photos I have ever seen.

07: Walk in Wonderland

I think Sheryl is my fashion soul mate.  I would say that I would rock about 90% of most of the clothes that she wears.  This look is no exception.  I am one to wear anything off the shoulder.  I feel as though having a shirt that’s baggy and of the shoulder is much sexier than something that is sizes too tight.  Actually most guys that I have dated actually find it more arousing that way as well.

I’m loving the tri block sweater, leggings, hardware bracelet, and glossy rain boots… and of course, the Ray Bans.  Doesn’t she have the PRETTIEST hair?!  *ugh*

How fun is this look?  What I like most about it is how androgynous it can be.  A woman could pull of this same simple look as chic as he did.
