Hey You Guys!
I know I always apologize for my drag in posting as of recent history, but I’m just so busy. I do have down time at work that I would love to utilize for writing blogs, but it’s really hard because I have co-workers that love to talk and I cannot concentrate on my personal work. Since there are no walls or sense of privacy it’s not like I can just walk back to my cubicle or office.
My job entails me being online all day. Therefore when I get back home I have not an ounce of desire to get online. On top of that I don’t have internet inside of my house.
I have been trying to get back into creating videos for YouTube. I do have a lot of clips but I have yet to make the time to sit down, put them together and create some visuals for you guys. Many of you have been following me for years and sometimes it’s just nice to see how that person lives every once in a while. I was thinking it would be cool to not only show you what I wear, but some of the activities that I participate in. Regardless of what the videos shows my typical week seriously consist of me just going to and from work, posting ads for my photography service, editing, contacting potential clients, sleeping, and playing with Jax. On Saturday and Sunday I’m typically meeting and shooting with clients. Since I work full time Monday-Friday then I only have the ability to take on clients during the week. Sundays I usually use the second half of the day to cook for the rest of the week or wash my hair.
This brings me to my “New Year’s Resolution.” Well, I hate to use that phrase but lets run with it for now.
Right now I want to work on being a better version of myself. I was to dress better, looker better, run my business better, be a better person mentally and spiritually.
I plan on accomplishing all that by working on my Mind, Body, and Soul.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. That’ sounds so cliché, but that’s the game plan. This is a break down on how I plan on accomplishing my goal.
I. Mind
a. Clean My Apartment Using the 30 Day Cure
b. Think of Effective Marketing Strategies for My Business
c. Attend at least one Workshop for my Photography this Year
d. Take a Bubble Bath at Least one a Week to Relax My Mind
e. Hone (???) in on my skills as a Photographer (what sets me apart)
f. Film Camera and Editing
II. Body
a. Begin Working Out 5 Days Out for the Week for an Hour.
b. Stick to the Paleo Eating Lifestyle
c. Only drink at Major Events
d. Join a Bikram Yoga Class
e. Get Health Insurance
f. Work on Skin, Hair, & Teeth
g. Experiment with Fashion More
III. Soul
a. Pray More
b. Learn to be Slow to Anger
c. Don’t Let the Little Things Get to Me (cuz we know, they are all little things)
Above will serve as an outline on how I plan to structure my year. With that being said this means the scope of the blog will also be changing as well. The primary focus will still be about fashion. However, fitness, eating, and how you conduct yourself socially are fabulous trends that never fade. I believe clothes may be our cover, but how we feel and look inside really reveals who we really are.
Don’t worry I will still have the Links of the Week, Top Fashion Looks, Outfit of the Days, and my Photo Diaries!
This new scope will also include my review on beauty products. Not makeup or anything of that sort as I do not wear any (super sensitive skin) and I already have really dominate features that I like. I will be reviewing lotions, oils, shampoos, and facial cleaning products. I will especially focus on products helping to maintain the growth, health, and overall look of natural hair.
In the upcoming days I will be explaining in detail on how I plan on accomplishing these three aspects. If anyone wants to join me on this growth journey feel free to follow me so we can all motivate each other. If you want to stay a voyeur that’s gret as well! Join in when you want!
Since I will probably have more content then I will try not to post more than 3 times a day. I don’t want anyone to get lost in too much content!
Okay, well I pray that everyone’s New Year is going well.
Let me know in the comments below what your changes will be for 2013. Lets see if we can all help each other out!

Good for you! My main goal this year is to focus on my health. I have been pretty negligent these past few years…living through my invincible 20s! Now in my thirties, I’m finally living in reality!
LMFAO! Don’t worry lady, I joined that club 15 days ago. LOLOL. Perhaps you can pass along a tip or two!
You know, I’ve recently gained a huge interest in learning how to avoid my medicine cabinet as much as possible…to, essentially, use food and nature to combat or prevent illness. An invaluable resource I’ve found so far is the one and only Dr. Oz! His website is http://www.doctoroz.com.
sounds like a greta plan! Hope you get it all done successfully
Thank You!
