What to Wear!!!
Tonight my soror and I will be heading out to a battle of the DJ’s. DUH! Of course I’m going to take photos… and YES! I know! I still have not posted the photo from my first art show! That will come soon. Promise.
Okay, since I t’s going to be a DJ battle I am going to need to find some super comfy clothes for this event. Since it’s cold I’m also going to need to wear sensible clothing as well.
So the problem is how do you wear comfortable and sensible clothing to a DJ battle?!
Here are some ideas that I gathered while scouring the web…
Look 01
While this is my favorite look I’m fresh out of massive chain necklaces and oversize turbans. I’m LOVING the bangle around her ankle and the door knockers. I like this outfit because it’s so energetic, youthful, and unexpected.
Look 02
How freakin’ colorful and comfy does she look? However, I have yet to try the sneaker pumps. Does anyone own a pair? How does it feel to walk in them?
Look 03
Tototally comfy, but again, the sneaker pumps. Plus, I pulled a similar look to this last week at my art show so I’m looking for something a bit more dynamic.
Look 04
This is super cute. While this may work inside the actual venue, the moment I set outside I’m going to freeze to death.
Look 05
This looks works because the actual clothing pieces are things we can all find in our closet today. The attitude in this outfit relies on the accessories. I could easy pull and outfit from my own closet inspired by this set.
Look 06
I’m not going to lie. I like this outfit purely for that Batman dress alone. I need to locate it ASAP so I can rock it for SXSW! The pastel motif is great look for spring. Also, you guys know I love me some funky gold accessories! Again, with these funky sneakers.
Some Cute Turntable Necklaces
What I’m Thinking…
I think I’m going to do a combination of all the looks. I have a cute leopard print sequin dress (yes, I know that sound complicated), some black leggings, and some American Adidas. I have some really cute chandelier diamond shape earrings that I would rock with my black bomber jacket.
This all sounds good in theory… let see how it all looks together.
My Hair
I want to rock a fauxhawk tonight…

Love look 4!
