Dallas Flea Shopping
This past Saturday my girl and I participated in the quarterly fun that is the Dallas Flea! I have spoken about the Dallas Flea a number of times so I will spare you guys all the details. Due to lack of time there won’t be too many words in this post.
What I wore:

My Friend
Vintage Dress: Thrift shopping in Dallas.
I totally forget the name of the thrift store my friend and I went last weekend to get the dress she’s rocking. All I can remember is that it’s a vintage dress that she picked up for $15. While $15 for a vintage dress may sound like a lot you have to place in consideration two things. First, 100% of profit went back to a woman’s shelter. Second, who cares! She loved the dress so much she HAD to have it.
When she picked up the dress I had to admit, it was gorgeous on her. However, I am going through the financial phase where I am buying either (a) only what I REALLY need or (b) if I’m going to get a good Cost per Wear out if it. Since she and I are both really active people in our social lives I didn’t know where she would wear this dress too.
I advised her if she bought it then she needed to find an excuse to wear it.
In reality she could throw on cute green cardigan and some close toed flats and wear it to work.
So you can only imagine how shocked I was to see her wearing this on Saturday to go to the Dallas Flea.
She told me she took my advice and decided to wear it out today.
Its spring and 80 degrees in Dallas. What other reason could one need?
And I said I wasn’t going to type a lot.
LOL…
On another note my friend and I picked up some cute items but because I’m careless. I left all my things with her… actually all I bought was a scarf. Well, i also bought some jalapenos… but I managed to bring that home. 0_o?!
In the pictures you will see below I LOVED that green necklace and that vintage belt. I ALMOST picked that belt up, but I have hips and I didn’t work out. I pray that belt finds a good home.
My friend picked up two cute (and highly functional) bags and some cute jewelry. As her personal fashion adviser I can guarantee that it was all good!
Of course, the jalapenos I managed NOT to forget.
