Out of the last 24 hours, I was at work for 18 of them. YIKES! I know! Needless to say I’m exhausted. I worked from 8 AM-5:30 PM… only to have to come back to work at 9 PM (that same day) and leave at 4:30 AM. Since my Blackberry is compliments of my job I didn’t get proper sleep because the darn the kept going off because it’s linked to my company email. Then my friends, who typically calls me in the morning on my way to work, apparently didn’t read my FaceBook status update to know my schedule for the day. This, in turn, left me with interrupt sleep… I ONLY got three hours of it. =(
However, this isn’t a blog entry about complaining. This is a blog explaining (a) why I messed up on my 30 day challenge, and (b) to show you my NEW LOVE… COCONUT M&MS!
OMFG! Have you guys tasted these?! They are like pieces of hard candy shelled chocolate heaven. The M&Ms come only in three colors: Green, Brown, & White. In conjunction with the traditional “M” they have pictures of umbrellas, hibiscus flowers, and palm trees!
Since I had to stay awake for so many hours I picked up two bags of these from my
dreaded Neighborhood Wal-Mart and downed them with a can of Dr. Pepper. This is significant information to know as my close friends recognize I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO against drinking calories. However, I needed to stay awake and that combination of high fructose corn syrup helped me make it through the night without crashing.
Will I be eating these M&Ms every day? NO! But they were delicious!
Also, I’m not counting yesterday against myself because it was an unpredictable day (to say the LEAST) and was out of my control. To make up for it I will write up two blog entries today. This being number one!
