Neiman Marcus’s Luxury Shoe Window Display (May 2011)
Okay. So the other night I went walking Jax and I ran into this window display at the downtown (original) location of Neiman Marcus. Neiman Marcus is a luxury retail store headquartered in Downtown Dallas. Texas doesn’t play with luxury fashion.
I nearly dropped to my knees on HILARITY of this display! Neiman Marcus did a FANTASTIC job in putting this window display together. Now THAT’s HOW YOU SALE SHOES! I’m sure even Jane at Sea of Shoes would agree.
I was in shoe-whore HEAVEN! The Valentino’s, Gucci, Prada, and my future ex husband’s brand-Christian Louboutin. It’s so funny because you have one mannequin in the back that is taking the other mannequin’s shoes size. The mannequin on the chair is in FULL ecstasy with all those LUXURY shoes around her! That scene portrays me to the T!
Now if I could only get Neiman Marcus money.
The display was so good that I made me one to check out the other ones! Check out my photos below and tell me what you guys think of the window display.
See how she’s laying back?! She has a pair of gold strappy Prada’s in hand.
I think these crocodile teal snake skin peep toes from Christian Louboutin are my FAVORITE! I would wear these shoes with EVERYTHING!
The CL Logo in the Gressimo Gingham Knot Pump.
These Valentino strappy nude pumps are all COLORS of FABULOUS! I LOVE the outside bow and the hardware detail located on the bands. It gives the shoe a GREAT sweet girl with an edge motif. You really could rock these shoes with EVERYTHING this summer.
This turquoise snake ring was in another window. I REALLY LOVE IT!
Now I really LOVED this Hounds-tooth jacket, until further inspection. At the bottom of the jacket there were loose threads. Finding loose threads on clothes is a MAJOR NO NO! ESPECIALLY if you buy your clothes at luxury department stores. A shopping rule of thumb: If you see loose threads on any particular clothing items that you want, don’t get ANY of them because it shows the item was cheaply made, and will fall on you sooner than later.
Here’s the full picture. You can still the loose threads. I love those shoes!
Check the pictures below to see more shoes and item that I found. Feliz Cinco de Mayo!
