Two weeks in a row I have posted the Top Looks of the Week?! *gasp* I know right! Hey! It has taken me awhile to get into the grove of things with a growing photography business, full time job, and trying to work out more often… I know I know… I need to keep working on those outfit of the day post. Bear with me everyone! I can’t wait until the clock goes back so I have more time in the evening to shoot with the light. Since I don’t get out of work until about 6:30 or 7PM every night there is NO LIGHT… and I hate shooting inside my apartment.
Meanwhile, enough about me! Lets get to the top looks of the week!
01: The Satorialist
How can you not love this simple sexy look. As my readers know… this is my signature look right here.. and I just love it. For me, it bleeds an effortless put together look that makes you look like one of the cool kids
02: Jak & Jil
Tommy Ton is ONE of my favorite street style photographers because of his eye for fashion. Case in point, the photo above. While I’m not a person that would rock a multi-colored outfit I believe that I could in piece. Especially if the piece is a skirt. She did a great job putting this look together because your attention does straight to the skirt and showcases her womanly curves. You don’t get dizzy looking at her because she matches the look with a jewel toned top.
03: Harper & Harley
Now I know this look won’t be a hit with all you guys. But I’m feeling the dominatrix physco ward feel of this. Perhaps I just have a fetish for all things strappy at the moment. However, I like the ease of this look because of her strappy flats. I’m not a flat person, but I could see myself rocking those Witchery shoes.
04: Styled by Janet
Lets be honest… when we thing of maternity clothes we aren’t exactly thinking, “Oh where did you get those stretch waisted jeans!” Hey! It’s the truth. However Janet is rocking a maternity look that anyone one us would wear with our without child. I know most pregnant woman curse the sight of belts, but I like how she incorporated the belt over he cute belly budge. Janet kicked the grunge look up a notch with the knee high lace up boots.
I’m not 100% sure who this lady is… but she looks FABULOUS in this 70’s inspired outfit. She is really showing young women how is should be, properly, done!
06: Girl with Curves
I really love how this woman accessorizes. I have tried a million times to pull of the long flyaway sweater look, but it doesn’t work for me. However, Tanesha really knows how to rock it!
LOL I love this pink, brown, and grey look… but I wonder if that guy rolled up his pants leg on purpose like that? He must be going for the eloquent gangsta look.
08: Ivonne Stacey Style
She really knows how to rock those skirts, doesn’t she ladies? I mean she gets a perfect 10 every time she does! Yes, that skirt is from Forever21!
09: Style & Poise
While I wouldn’t tell anyone to wear all one color she executes it perfectly by adding in her flashy clutch and chandelier earrings.
